Music

Music is an all encompassing term for sounds arranged over time. Most music is supposed to provoke an emotional reaction and thus is not an exact science. There are many genres of music out there, some say there are too many pigeon holes, but here are just a few for now; Trip hop, hip hop, pop, rock, hard rock, metal, heavy metal, death metal, black metal, pop punk, punk, hardcore punk, Oi, ska, skacore, Reggae, dub, dubstep, garage, 2-step, Jungle, Drum n bass, Techno, Trance, Psytrance, Pschedelic Rock, Prog Rock, Classical, Folk, Anti-folk, Grime, crunk, Rap, Rap metal, thrash, Grindcore, House, Handbag, hard house, electronica, Funk, soul, rhythm and blues, R n B, Gospel, Blues, crossover, powernoise, Steppas, Baggy Trousers and Indie. I’m sure there are many more genres of music than this but that will do for now.

Sometimes it saddens me that there isn’t a better education of music history available to children as I take great pride in the fact that I listen to and Enjoy many different genres. I love listening to new and undiscovered artist’s and bands, both live and on record, as well as producers and DJs. I spend as much time as I possibly can listening to music I’ve never heard before and thank God for my eclectic and universal tastes.
